Bennett Actuator Assembly
The Bennett actuator assembly is the piston-like strong arm that pushes the
tab into position. The body of the actuator is made of a sophisticated plastic
resin. The upper hinge is made of nylon. In actual use it bends approximately
5° but the upper hinge can bend significantly greater than conditions would
ever demand. Hydraulic fluid flows into the actuator through a concealed hole
in the upper hinge thus eliminating external hoses subject to damage by the
elements. This actuator is flexible but hearty enough to withstand the demands
of offshore use. Bennet Actuator Assembly.
The Bennett Actuator Assembly features Flexible nylon / fiberglass hydraulic
cylinder has no external hoses. The hydraulic enters the transom by means of
a concealed fitting in the top of the actuators.
