This system makes the reel smooth and easy to cast. When the pinion gear is
disengaged to make a cast, it floats on the ball bearings and stays in alignment
so that there is no friction with the spool shaft. The spool spins easily so
long casts require much less effort. The firctionlessness and smoothness of
the curado make this reel unbeatable. The Shimano Curado is available in six
different models including left handed options. The CU200BSF and the left hand
crank CU201BSF both incorporate the Super Free System.
